How much do I love these two ?! There are no words. Thank you to my lovely friend CJ Scott for these precious images.
I can’t believe it but Dawn and I have now been friends for over a decade. How time flies. We met in Vancouver when I lived there with Darren for a year in between years at University. We hit it off immediately. Dawn has the most infectious smile, laugh and positive personality and is nothing but sunshine to be around. I was so honoured when her mom flew me out as a surprise to shoot their destination wedding in Mexico a few years back. You can see that post here and here. She met her match in Billy. A creative and free spirited soul just like Dawn. He makes her SO happy and seeing their love is an inspiration to all those around them. They visited us this past weekend and before we headed up to Tofino for a get away with them, a photoshoot in the blossoms was a MUST.
We love you guys!
Blushing from this beautiful review Melissa’s mom Maria wrote about her experience working with me on Melissa’s wedding ….
“I’m continually amazed by Kim’s calming presence, which has a real soothing effect on the bride yet is a quality that can be overlooked when searching for a photographer. That quality is just Kim’s way – she captures the intimate moments and details of the day yet blends effortlessly into the background. Her photographs provide a stunning recollection of the genuine emotions of the day; I have very high expectations, and Kim has exceeded every one of them!”

Sublime Celebrations
How cute are these two?! Love the outfits they chose! We had a blast wandering through Victoria and stopping here and there for some fun portraits. Thanks for the laughs Erin and Mike!
These lovebirds were just here on a quick visit tying up loose ends for their wedding at Hatley Castle this summer and we snuck in a quick engagement session in a perfectly timed gap of clear skies. There is something about cherry blossoms that just get me every time.
