I think Clare defined her style best … “My tastes in design lean towards the old-world. A perfect arrangement for me is one that’s loose and abundant, evokes romance and sensuality, and incorporates unexpected botanical elements like local vines and wild herbs.”
Her style speaks to me and my love for flowers. I truly love how her arrangements convey beauty in a seemingly effortless way, even though I know that is not the case. I know that she puts her heart and so much thought into arranging her floral art, but they appear so natural and not over-done. That is part of the genius of Clare’s work.
I had such a pleasure chatting with her about our favourite dhalias, propagating peonies, and our love of good dirt.
I think Clare looks so incredibly beautiful.

It’s one of the biggest compliments to be chosen amongst a circle of friends as the photographer that so many of them have chosen to document their wedding day. Brad has been a best man in nearly a handful of weddings I have had the pleasure of being apart of. He’s a popular guy. And once you meet him you know exactly why.
And guess what ?! He married an incredible lady. Jess is so sweet. And gorgeous. And funny. And smart. I could go on and on.
So you can imagine that working with these two was a piece of cake. And you’d be right.

What makes Hayden’s Halloween costume extra special is that this is the costume that Darren wore when he was Hayden’s age. Darren’s mom made this lovely costume and it was so sweet that Hayden got to wear it too.
Oh, he’s growing up so fast – what a cutie!
