Working It !

Yesterday I had a photo session with a wonderful friend of mine, Kelly.  Not only is Kelly beautiful and a fashionista extraordinaire, but she is also a fabulously talented Realtor.  Kelly needed some photos for her up and coming website,  so we hit the town in search of some unique and vibrant locations.  I have a couple, more like quite a few, funky alleys downtown that I love to work with.  We chose to use those spots and one stunning little garden nook in behind one of my absolute FAV restaurants in town  il Terrazzo.

I love these!! Kelly is such a sweet and beautiful lady 🙂 and a wonderful realtor. She helped us find our home and we had so much fun in the process with her. Stunning pictures!

Love Bird Session {Heather + James}

Heather and James are such a sweet and adorable couple !! It was a pleasure to meet up with them today to do some fun lovey dovey pics, especially since they just got ENGAGED over Christmas !!  Their fabulous personalities and style made the session sooooooo easy.  These guys knew what they were doing 😉  I really enjoyed how relaxed they were and how comfortable they were with each other … so much so, that my job was a breeeeeeeeze.

I wanted to get up a couple teaser photos extra quick as James is flying back home to Australia tomorrow.

It was awesome to meet you both today.  I can’t wait to hear more about your wedding plans too – keep me posted 😉

PS – I swear some of these pics should be album covers, so if you guys don’t play any instruments, you should get started – lol !!

Have a safe trip home James, and Heather we will be in touch soon.  Hope you love these first few.

Love Bird Session {Amy + Len}

I had the COLDEST session of the year yesterday with Amy and Len.  We were down at Island View Beach and about 2 minutes into the session none of us could feel our fingers or our faces!  It was soooo windy and icy and ridiculously cold!  We had to take a few breaks to hop into their truck to warm up with the heater.   Despite the freezing cold,  Amy and Len were troopers and we managed to stick it out for well over an hour and got a LOT of great shots….including some awesome detail shots of their wedding rings.   We even got to test out my newest addition, a beautiful 1940 pale blue beauty of a chair 🙂

Amy used to live in Victoria and her and Len were visiting for the holidays.  I was so happy when she contacted me about doing a session while she was here!  Amy it was so fabulous to see you and Len it was such a pleasure to finally meet you.
